Thanks!!

Life does change throughout your life; you just have to keep a tight hold and keep yourself down to reality; and down to earth. After highschool, I joined the military. I spent a total of 14 years traveling the world, working for Generals and many top officials. In 1997, I was medically discharged due to an injury to my knee. Hmmm, the military was all that I knew, what was I going to do? Well after trying different position, with a few companies; I obtained a position with a fortune 500 company up North. Very high key position; supporting one of the Senior Vice Chairwoman of the company. Was a very good job, great company with benefits. Well this to came to an end when my father became ill. Packed up and moved back home to North Carolina, so I could help my family with this situation. A few years later, my dad's suffering ended and he went on home to see his creator. A few years passed, and I moved to Wilmington, NC with a job transfer. It was a job, but nothing like I had experienced from my position up north. About two months after I moved to Wilmington, a headhunter approached me, asked me if I would be interested in a new position with a differnt company? After doing my research, I excepted the position, an office manager for a Electrical Construction Company!?!? I ended up working there for approximately 5 years, and then I was approached by a few of the people that worked at this company about joining them in their "new" company. I would be doing the same type of work, just a new company. I took this position, everything seemed great...... until I was laid off 4 months later.

Being laid off from work is a horrible feeling, not only do you have less income coming into the house hold, wake up when you want to, go to bed when you want to... but trust me this gets extremely boring too, you can only wash the clothes so many times before they start to wear out, you can only clean the house, mow the grass, wash the car so many times in a day. I'm sure that if the economy was different, I would have found another job, and none of this would have happened, but that is not the case, there were no positions out there, and the ones that were paid less than what I made while on Unemployment. So go figure!

I know that this has been long and dragged out, but I wanted to get my point across before explaining what I'm doing know. We all go through life changes, expected and unexpected, but we need to keep our heads held high, keep looking forward but most of all, find out what makes us happy and Go For It!!!!! This is what I've done. I have always had a passion for design, but never to the extent of Interior Design, I always have had the passion of doing things for people that made them feel good! I would always be happiest when the people that I'm around, (friends, family or simply anyone walking down the street) are happy and have a big smile on their face. So I decided, that I was going to school and become an Accredited Staging Professional. And that is what I did! I know that with my passion to help others in a stressful time of their lives, (moving on) will be so rewarding to me, if I could afford it, this is one job that I would do for free, but the food needs to be put on the table and those bills have to be paid, but I don't have to charge those huge amounts of money to make someone happy, I can do this with just the bare minimum..... for once I am extremely happy!!! Doing what I love to do!!!! I just wish that everyone reading this would find happiness in their lives, doing what they love to do, and if you have? FANTASTIC!!!!!! You know how I feel now! For those that have not reached this point, find it, do what it takes to make yourself happy, just think if everyone in this country was doing what they loved to do, was happy with themselves, whew! No more sorrow, no more pain.....just happy, happy, happy people everywhere...........

thank you for taking the time to read this, and now that you know about me, I will promise that I will post items that relate to Home Staging, I promise! Well, I will do my best anyway! Ya'll have a great day, and find what your looking for!!!!!!
